STEAM Wednesday🔧
Terra Nova's P3–P6 children have been getting stuck into a brand-new STEAM time, with five challenges already completed!
Every Wednesday, children work together to solve hands-on challenges, putting their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths into practice.
Along the way, they are developing just as many important teamwork skills, communicating, sharing ideas, problem-solving and learning from each other.
Most importantly, they're having lots of fun! It's been great seeing their creativity, curiosity and teamwork in action.

Responsibility on the Move🚆
Terra Nova's Grade 5 and 6 students were on the move last week as they hopped aboard the SBB School & Experience Train.
With the motto "Responsibility on the move," students got stuck into a whole range of interactive activities and challenges.
They explored everything from energy and mobility to fake news and safety. They had plenty of opportunities to think, question, discuss and have fun along the way!
It was a great day of learning outside the classroom, discovering how the choices made today can help shape the world of tomorrow.
And, of course, what better way to learn about mobility than by doing it on a train!
